This gem is something that I regret not going before.
What a place, from the moment you enter the whole experience begins with a welcoming service, even the people who go there are nice and welcoming. Then the coffee quality is noticeable which only serves as an excellent companion to the French infused menu.
Watching the chef preparing your food just adds value to the whole plan.
Needless to say the food was fresh, flavorful and beautifully presented.

This is not a joke. I just had blueberry pancakes and I bit into a machined screw. I am so pissed. Luckily I didn’t break a tooth. F this place. The cook knows I was sitting at the counter and it still had pancake batter on the threads. FYI I went back after this festered and they didn’t throw out the batter. I caught this amateur home cook making pancakes.
Came to the area for a wedding, went here for brunch at about 1130am on a Saturday.
Very small cafe. We were seated at the counter and watched the two cooks make a very varied assortment of dishes.
I was so impressed with the presentation! I got berry stuffed French toast and it was amazing. The waitresses were pleasant and prompt, so were the cooks. It was super busy when we went in, but there wasn’t an unreasonable wait from order to food- those cooks and waitresses were going nonstop. Loved going here.
Excellent food, especially the crepes. Lovely service and friendly vibe from the folks - staff and customer.
Atmosphere didn’t match the quality of the food or service though. Seemed run down and outdated; lots and lots of flies.
Unfortunately my bill was also higher than it should’ve been - either a mistake or the waitress charged me for the home fries that she offered but I did not order (it seemed like it came part of the meal).
Not a big enough deal to make a fuss about but did prompt me to leave a review. Not a fan of this type of thing. Next time I’ll go back to Christie’s or try a new place
Food was good! Service took a long time, but I understand they were busy... It was a Sunday morning.. We were just passing through the state and this place was recommended to go to. Got the lobster omelet and the hash burrito. The lobster was sooo good, but the hash burrito was really greasy. Kids got pancakes and bacon, they really liked the pancakes.

Definitely a hidden gem. We had planned to try another nearby spot for Sunday breakfast/brunch but they had a long wait and I had peeked at the menu here and the crepes sounded amazing. I was not disappointed the Lobster Crepe was to die for. Loaded with lobster, goat cheese and spinach and the sauce omg I ate every bite.
My husband got the woody omelete which was corned beef hash and cheese. The corned beef was excellent.
We sat at the counter and chatted up a few regulars. It was like breakfast and a show watching the chef and sous chef knock out dishes with precision and ease. They were a well oiled machine and I'm looking forward to going back.
What a disappointment! Ordered biscuits and gravy special on the board only to be later told they had no biscuits. Then ordered the steak and cheese omelette and it should be named the shoe leather omelette! Steak was full of grissle and WAY over done! Nothing homemade about the hash, it was disgusting canned slop that was burned to a crisp! The whole place had a horrid stench, nothing has been cleaned in 20 years.
